Currently2020

- A symbiotic welfare program has been developed and implemented for widows and orphans to provide support and assistance to damaged families through effective participation and in-kind assistance under the supervision of a specialized working team.
- A support program for needy women has been set up with the aim of providing meals to affected families, and it should be noted that these families are part of the following social situations: families in need, widows and orphans, people with special needs, the poorest and most needy families, and the extreme poverty line.
- A group of volunteers made up of 90 widows and nearly 100 orphans from associated families was trained to work in the field.
It was agreed with a group of human rights defenders to protect the rights of those affected and to protect the rights of children and human beings by providing advice and prosecution and monitoring the rights of those affected.
- Work has been done to prepare a study for families who have lost one of their members / families to martyrs, with the aim of organizing periodic visits to their homes, identifying their needs and giving them support, help and follow-up.
- A multidisciplinary working group was formed in the field of social and psychological work, working on: The implementation of a field study of the damaged areas, the preparation of social files for all families, the identification of needs according to priorities, provision of psychological and social support.
- A team of social health professionals was set up with the aim of: reviewing individual and group sessions for all age groups with the aim of reducing the severity of the crisis, reviewing the health file and raising awareness, guiding and advising medical specialists, preparing animation programs for children, setting up support sessions for the elderly, and the most important is awareness to avoid the dangers of Coronavirus accompanying the disaster.
- A hotline for damaged people has been secured for daily monitoring.
- A number of apartments outside of Beirut have been secured for those who have lost their homes.
- A group of women were formed who volunteered to prepare food for the damaged people.
- About 300 food and cleaning supplies were provided to families.
- Clothing was provided to damaged families.
- A sum of money was obtained to be distributed to the damaged families.
- A study was prepared to provide a free health and social protection card to damaged families.
- Communication has started with Lebanese expatriates, with the aim of ensuring material support to affected families.

The work of the Office of Counseling and Family Orientation of the cedars mutual fund in coordination and cooperation with the Ministry of the Interior and Municipalities
On the provision of 7,796 family services, i.e. more than 23,388 individual services
The mission of the Fund: to respond to requests for all incoming and outgoing communications via the Ministry of the Interior to benefit from the assistance that will be provided by the Ministry of Social Affairs.
Provide care, support and accompaniment services according to needs and priorities, for all age groups according to modern scientific standards in accordance with the laws of mutual societies in Lebanon for beneficiaries.

International Firefighters Day
For the first time in the history of Lebanon, the first ceremony to honor the International Day of Firefighters was held in Lebanon 4 / May / 2017 International Day of Firefighters For the first time in the history of Lebanon, the first ceremony to honor the International Day of Firefighters is held in Lebanon after the event was highlighted by the Guidance and Counselling Office of the cedars mutual fund, who organized this ceremony under the patronage of His Highness the Governor of the City of Beirut, Judge Ziad Shabib, at the Doctor's House, In the presence of representative of his highness the president, prime minister, ministers and parlement members, and firefighters led by Lieutenant-Colonel Muhammad Al-Halabi and the Beirut City Guard led by Brigadier General Ali Al- Shahrour.

Participants:
Firefighters, Beirut City Guard, Social welfare institutions, the Al-Makassed Association, many other active associations , and the Lebanon Center for Volunteer Work.
The ceremony received its distinctive elegance by the presence of:

In addition, a campaign was organized to distribute posters bearing the logo of firefighting on the occasion of the International Firefighters Day 2017 under the patronage of the Governor of the city of Beirut, in cooperation with the Beirut firefighters, Beirut City Guards Regiment, Social Welfare Institutions and Volunteer Affairs Unit of Al-Makassed Association and with support of Al-Tawfi and Rafah Charity Association.

Launch of the Cedar Social Health Card in cooperation with the charity Al Tawfiq for affiliates, beneficiaries and extended families "social cases of all ages, orphans, widows"
Specialists from the Cedars Mutual Fund Board of Directors participated in the design of the Cedar Card for Social Health Support, which was launched by the Reconciliation and Welfare Charitable Association in cooperation with social protection institutions. The association distributed this card to more than 550 people.

Coordination was established with the Russian Cultural Center under the administration of Khairat Akhmetov, which organized an exhibition on housework, with the participation of the Association for Reconciliation and Welfare.

Collaboration with social welfare institutions in the educational outreach family care service. His Highness Dr Khaled Qabbani manages social protection institutions, which are a national, charitable, social and non-governmental system that provides diverse and specialized services through 56 centers, through their institutions distributed in all the governorates of the Lebanese Republic. They are civil, benevolent, social and scientific development institutions that enjoy administrative and financial independence recognized by Republic Decree No. 5573 of 1922. Specialists from the Board of Directors of the cedars mutual fund have set up service projects provided by the Reconciliation and Well-Being Charitable Association for the family security program that has been set up by the institutions of social protection in Lebanon.

An agreement has been made with the company Wind Way to provide cards at reduced prices to members of the network of contracting stores.

Cooperation with ABC Medical Imaging, with the aim of offering discounts to affiliates and beneficiaries of our services.
A contract was signed with ABC Medical Imaging in Beirut - Corniche Al Mazraa - near the Jamal Abdel Nasser mosque to provide the services available at the center with a 20% discount on the price of Social Security on all x-rays and for all members and recipients of our services (which include X-rays, Mammography, osteoporosis, ultrasounds, images of teeth and jaw, ultrasound of the heart and arteries, ECG)

It was agreed with the Kursk State Medical University to grant university scholarships to the children of associates and beneficiaries of the Cedars Mutual Fund in the various disciplines taught at Kursk University in English and accredited in the Lebanese Republic. The value of this grant is determined on the basis of a study carried out by our team at the Counseling and Guidance Office to develop Social Student.
The chairman of the board of directors of the Cedars Mutual Fund of Kursk State Medical University in Russia was also honored on the 80th anniversary of the university.

The university was founded in 1935 in the province of Kursk, 545 km from Moscow in the south-eastern European part of Russia.
Kursk State Medical University is one of the top 10 medical universities in Russia thanks to its many achievements. Kursk University preceded all Russian universities by running medical programs in English.

Cooperation with the French Lebanese University from discussions to obtain university scholarships for the children of members of the Cedars Mutual Fund in the various disciplines taught at the university.
The ULF is progressing at the scientific, academic and technological levels, after having signed agreements with French universities and academic bodies to strengthen cooperation and certificates, in addition to opening up new courses in engineering and technology specializations.
Currently, the board of directors of the Cedars Mutual Fund has started the first phase of negotiations with the French Lebanese University to obtain university scholarships for the children of members of the Cedars Mutual Fund in the various disciplines taught at the university.

Cooperation with an international company (USARAD) to provide medical services at the highest level in Lebanon to affiliates and beneficiaries of our services. The company is considered to be the first in the United States of America to provide x-ray readings, and its board of directors met in Abu Dhabi with the aim of cooperating with company doctors to provide medical consultations. remotely to affiliates and beneficiaries of Fund services at reduced prices. A contract has been made between the American company USARAD for distance reading and ABC Medical Imaging in Beirut - Corniche Al Mazraa - near the Jamal Abdel Nasser Mosque to provide these services to all affiliates and beneficiaries through the ABC Medical Imaging Center (which includes x-ray, Breast imaging, osteoporosis, ultrasound, images of teeth and jaw, ultrasound of the heart and arteries, ECG).
